Jokes, Teasing, and Vulgarity. WARNING: INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT!

 July 6, 2013. 12:50am.

So like I side, before spraying Chef in the face with the hose thing, I had been thinking to myself about how today was the best day yet. I can't even come close to describing all the joking, teasing, and vulgarity that went on the kitchen this evening shift. But it was a LOT. Like seriously. Chef is so inappropriate it's unbelievable!! I couldn't stop laughing, and was continually shocked by his manner. It was the funniest and most ridiculous. And I understood most of it! Furthermore, he was talking directly to me most of the time (I was removed mussels from the shells next to him de-boning mackerels), though mostly about Jean-Baptiste.

Here are some things I learned today:
§  Jean-Baptiste (age 21) is actually single and has only had one girlfriend.
§  Youaine (age 19) is single but has a 1 year old daughter. (whoa)
§  Chef never cooks for his girlfriend. He has cooked for her once ever.
§  Chef has 1 younger brother and 2 older brothers. (I then clarified that he had no sisters, and he responded with "Yeah, I have one. My little brother." He likes calling boys he teases girls.)

The main thing Chef joked about what Jean-Baptiste. His go-to subjects of teasing were about how Jean-Baptiste:
§  Has tons of lovers
§  Is beautiful
§  Is 'sexy'
§  Loves using his tongue (Chef demonstrated several times by pointing his tongue out and wiggling it back and forth)
§  Is good in bed ('Il est bonne' apparently means that)
§  Is a little girl (une fillete)
§  Is a predator
§  I clarified - he's a "predator fillete"? And then Chef started using that phrase as well
§  Wants to give me a kiss

We talked about girlfriends, boyfriends, and sex a lot today actually.

When he asked me and I said I didn't have a boyfriend he winked, made a sexual noise, and indicated to me and Jean-Baptiste that we should get together.

Later when we were talking about siblings I said I had a sister. It also came up that she is going to be a doctor. He asked how old, and I said 26. Chef decided she would also be good for Jean-Baptiste. I said sorry she has a boyfriend. And Chef says it's okay that doesn't matter to Jean-Ba.

Like I said, there's a lot of joking about sex and inappropriate things. I'm sure I'm not even going to come close to writing about all of it. Especially since Chef told me that what he said to Jean-Baptiste a little earlier was "degolas" (sp?), meaning something like vulgar and disgusting and inappropriate I think. Chef said it was too 'degolas' to tell me.

Chef said at one point that Jean-Baptiste thinks with his penis. (I don't remember the French phrase). I then said, "but don't all men?". He laughed, said, "me, yes. Jean-Baptiste, also yes. But maybe a little but less. Youaine, less so."

When I asked if he cooks for his girlfriend and he said no, I was surprised. I said, "never???" and he said he had once. I then asked, "what's the point of having a chef as your boyfriend if he doesn't cook for you?" He responded with "pour le sex," then winked and smiled very naughtily. Yeah. Seriously. So that gives you an idea of how life in the kitchen was today. It was something else.

So I definitely have a crush on Chef by the way. But he has a girlfriend. I know, I just said yesterday I have a crush on Tibot. But he has a girlfriend too. However, I also have a crush on Jean-Baptiste, whom I just found out today DOESN'T have a girlfriend. And has only had one, which is kind of endearing too. Because he's actually really cute. He's also quite the chef I think - he is main sous-chef I believe, and definitely seems like a pro in the kitchen. Oh by the way I get a strong impression that everything Chef makes fun of him about if very not true, and probably the opposite of true. Jean-Baptiste certainly seemed to think it was all ridiculous. Though he went along with the jokes sometimes and occasionally jokingly confirmed to Chef about his promiscuous ways, etc. He made some fairly inappropriate comments as well. But in general, all though he's funny and joking, he kind of rolled his eyes as if all Chef's jokes were pretty opposite of accurate.

I think I would have fun dating Jean-Ba actually ;) He really is very cute, funny, friendly, in his element, and fun.

Well, tomorrow we're going to a club! Chef asked me if I was going out to drink tomorrow. I sais yes and asked him back, and he is too!! He then said, if I want to look for him, he'll be at the bar. Ha! I guess he likes to drink...I asked if he likes to dance, and he said no. I think he then said but I can dance with Jean-Ba. Hahaha...maybeeee...! I then asked if his girlfriend likes to dance, and he said yes. I then said something like "faire attention", trying to say something like "better watch out!" I meant it very much to be a joke, but I don't know if it translated well. He said something about not needing to worry. But it sounded a little less light-hearted - I'm sure it wasn't a big deal, but I don't think the joke worked exactly how I meant it to.

Anyway, I really am excited for tomorrow!! As usual, I'm excited to work. I love working both in the patisserie and in the kitchen right now so I don't even care!! :) They're both so much fun! And tomorrow...tomorrow is Saturday, and we are going out to a club. Oh boy! Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!! ;)
